Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

Your California Privacy Rights

If you are a California resident, you have the right to direct us not to sell or share your personal information. This right is provided under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA). Residents of other states with similar laws may exercise the same request through the methods below.

What "sell or share" means here

When you submit a case-review form or call us, SSDI Guidance transmits the information you provide — such as your name, phone number, email, address, date of birth, and details about your Social Security disability claim — to participating attorneys, advocates, law firms, and marketing partners so that one of them can contact you about your claim. Under California law, that transfer may be considered a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information, even though you asked us to make the connection.

SSDI Guidance is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the Social Security Administration (SSA) or any other government agency. Opting out here does not affect any application or claim you have with the SSA.

What happens when you opt out

When you submit an opt-out request, we will:

• Stop transmitting your personal information to participating attorneys, advocates, and marketing partners for case-matching or marketing purposes
• Add your name, phone number, and email to our suppression list
• Not use your information for our own marketing

Please note: opting out does not affect information that was already transmitted before we received your request. If an attorney, advocate, or partner has already received your information, you may contact them directly to exercise your rights with them. How to submit a request

Choose either method. We will confirm receipt and complete your request within 15 business days.

• Phone: (888) 698-2005 — tell the representative you want to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information

Include the name, phone number, and email you used when you contacted us so we can locate your record. We only use this information to process your request.

You may also designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf. We may ask the agent for proof of authorization.

Other privacy rights

California residents also have the right to:

• Know what personal information we collect, use, and disclose
• Request deletion of your personal information
• Request correction of inaccurate personal information
• Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you
• Limit the use of sensitive personal information, such as information about your health or medical condition
• Not be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights

Optional condition note. Our form lets you add a short, optional note about your condition. Anything you choose to write there may include health information, which is sensitive personal information under the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CCPA/CPRA). We use the note only to match you with a representative, and we share it only with the attorney or advocate reviewing your case (and with service providers that process it on our behalf, such as our customer relationship tool). You never have to write anything there, and you can ask us to delete it at any time.
